GPL Basic Electric Start Kit (Rotax Engine 377)
Tired of pull starting your Rotax 377? Don't have room for the Rotax inline starter? Look no further - The Basic GPL starter installs at the mag (flywheel) side of the engine, and is a excellent starter for a new installation or replacement of a existing starter system. The GPL starter mounts at a 90 degree angle to the crankshaft, and adds only 2 15/16" in depth to your engines installed length. Replacement parts are available.
You will need to supply a starter switch, regulator / rectifier, battery (19 amp hour), battery mount, battery cables, & starter solenoid. This starter kit includes:
- Starter
- Ring gear
- Spacer
- Bolt hardware for mounting
Options available:
1. If you wish to retain pull start capability, order the optional Outer Spacer. If you do not order this option, by default you will receive a Cover Plate.
2. Deluxe Starter Option - Includes Push Button Starter Switch, Regulator / Rectifier, 11' Battery Cables & Starter Solenoid. You supply a 19 amp hour battery and battery mount.
3. Super Duty Starter Motor - Adds 25% more torque then standard GPL starter motor (Mainly used on Rotax 583, 618, and 720 series engines)
Note: Though Recreational Mobility stocks GPL starter systems, it is near impossible to have every combination of parts available for packing a system for shipping, therefore their may be delays in shipping according to the installation you require.
